Sales Operations Manager

About the Role

ClearTrace is seeking a Sales Operations Manager to support Sales activities during a critical inflection point in the company’s growth. This position will report directly to the COO and work to support the Sales organization in maintaining the  pipeline, closing deals, and interfacing with other key departments such as Product and Engineering.

This role is a high value-add business partner to the Sales organization, enabling revenue growth and increasing Sales productivity by providing effective methodologies, efficient processes, insightful information and accompanying tools.


  • Managing and maintaining Sales data structure in the CRM and other software programs
  • Recognizing, developing, and implementing process improvements within the Sales organization, as well as hand-off processes from Sales to Customer Success/Engineering
    • Identify and correct bottlenecks in the overall Sales process
    • Optimize lead scoring and task based prioritization
    • Implement and refine Sales automation tools
  • Developing and maintaining reports of Key Performance Indicators 
  • Enabling Sales process effectiveness for all Sales team members 
  • Partnering with Sales Leaders to create and maintain Sales forecasting models and data
  • Creating and maintaining Sales Department policies, procedures, training manuals, and Sales-related resource material
  • Assisting with the onboarding and training process of new Sales team members
  • Assisting with the development of Enterprise Account onboarding processes


  • 3+ years of experience – 1+ in a Sales role and 2+ in Sales Operations
  • Proficiency with Hubspot, Salesforce or another CRM
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • The ability to understand the strategic direction and goals of ClearTrace and support appropriate processes to facilitate achievement of business objectives
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes
  • A result and success oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure
  • An ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
  • An innate drive to innovate and optimize the use of available resources
  • Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
